1 c. salad oil

1 c. white sugar

1 c. brown sugar

1 egg, beaten

1 c. crushed Corn Flakes

1 c. chopped nuts

1 c. (quick) oatmeal

3 1/2 c. flour, sifted

1 tbsp. soda

1/2 tsp. salt

2 tsp. vanilla



Cream butter, sugar and egg. Add salad oil and rest of ingredients. Mix and form small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in water. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool in pan for a minute, then remove.  ...</description>

2/3 c. vegetable oil

1 egg

1 c. sour milk

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

2 1/2 c. flour

In a large bowl mix together ingredients in order given. Pour batter into well greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pans. Set aside while preparing topping.
